Junior League Foundation Grants
We would once again like to announce that we are now accepting applications for grants through the Junior League Foundation. The Junior League Foundation has awarded over $80,000 in grants to non-profits in the past eight years since it was created and as a community project. Last year alone, a total of $15,018 was awarded to local organizations.
Foundation grants are available to non-profit groups or individuals within the range of $500-$2500, depending on the need and number of people impacted. Follow this link for more information: JLFoundation.asp
Scholarships For Seniors
Scholarships for Seniors was developed to encourage volunteerism within the teenage population in Rapides Parish. This fund allows for five $1000.00 scholarships to be given to female high school seniors who have participated to an exceptional degree in volunteer activities. A student will be awarded a scholarship based on the number of volunteer hours, as well as the quality of the service performed. Follow this link for more information: ScholarshipsforSeniors.asp
