SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SENIORS

Scholarships for Seniors was developed to encourage volunteerism within the teenage population in Rapides Parish.  This fund allows for five $1000.00 scholarships to be given to female high school seniors who have participated to an exceptional degree in volunteer activities.  A student will be awarded a scholarship based on the number of volunteer hours, as well as the quality of the service performed.

Any student who has maintained a 2.5 grade point average and is in good standing at her school is eligible.  Students must use these scholarships for college.  An Application may be obtained below or from the guidance office of any Rapides Parish public or private high school.  Deadline for submission is April 5, 2010.
